Equilibrium’s first concert of the 2019-2020 season brings together duos, trios, and quartets by international composers from across the US and Brazil, Chile, and Iran who have all have studied in new England, plus two American composers from opposite coasts, all of whom have created very personal pieces using these staple ensembles. Works by Andre Mestre, Clifton Ingram, Michelle Lou, Bahar Royaee, and Pedro Alvarez.

Turns | EQ Ensemble

This EQ Ensemble concert features our second commission for this season, Clifton Ingram’s Fortress of Turns, paired with two of Ingram’s influences, Nomi Epstein’s Sextet, and Drew Baker’s Charon. EQ composers Dan Lewis’ The Way We Wanderand Mischa Salkind-Pearl’s A Poppy of Erasure are also featured.
